Mahjong Titans was the tile-matching game that came pre-installed on Windows Vista and Windows 7. It was built by Oberon Games for Microsoft Windows and shipped with six boards: Turtle, Dragon, Cat, Crab, Fortress, and Spider. When Windows 8 arrived in 2012, the bundled desktop games were dropped. Titans never came back in Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Search for the old game today and you mostly find third-party download sites. Many of them wrap the installer with extra software you did not ask for. Microsoft Windows does offer a separate Microsoft Mahjong app in its store, but that route means a store download and a Microsoft account.

On a computer you play with the mouse. Click one free tile, then click its match. You can undo any move, and a hint is one click away when you get stuck. The board scales to your window, so a desktop monitor shows the tiles far larger than any phone screen could.
Yes — the rules have not changed. A board holds 144 tiles stacked in layers. A tile is free when no tile sits on top of it and at least one of its long sides is open. Click two identical free tiles to remove them as a pair. Clear all 144 tiles and you win the board.
Two small exceptions carry over from every classic mahjong set. Any flower tile matches any other flower, and any season tile matches any other season, because each of those tiles is unique.
